What We Have Learned from Photon + Jet Final State in CMS
During the LHC proton-proton collisions, the photon+jet final state occurring mostly from QCD interaction provides rich information for detector calibration, object reconstruction, and physics interpretation. In this talk, we present the bottom-up approach on the analyses based on photon+jet signature in CMS experiment in LHC. I will show how we understand the reconstruction of photon+jet events in CMS and the analysis results on the same event signature. The results provide input to test QCD as well as the search for new physics.
