Search for the Dark Matter with the AMS experiment and a local haloscope experiment
The Dark Matter is one of the most important unsolved issues in fundamental physics today. We have engaged in a long term program in searching for the Dark Matter particle in laboratory. In the presentation, I will report the latest result of AMS experiment’s positron and antiproton results, in the context of Dark Matter detection. I will also report a new initiative to build a local haloscope axion detector to search for dark matter in the micro-eV to mili-eV mass range. Future plans for a photon-photon collision axion search experiment is proposed and will be discussed briefly.
